The Novak Report
There are 14,000 known businesses located in Durham Region. Within that number are many companies who have a compelling story or are businesses that people should know about, but do not. The Novak Report attempts to help with this problem by focusing on and highlighting a different area business with each report.
After a successful one year stint as a weekly radio feature on the Small Business Big Ideas Show, The Novak Report has made the transition to television. Beginning on January 14, 2008 The Novak Report will become a regular nightly feature on Live at 5, the regular newscast which airs on Channel 12 CHEX TV Durham. Each week one business will be featured for the entire week (Monday - Thursday) and during that week Eric Novak will try to show the viewers why that particular business is amongst the real hidden business treasures of our region. The segments will be shot on location to make effective use of the new video dimension that has been added through the move to television.
